Zen Liniment is a combination of 8 traditional herbal medicines and 2 essential oils that penetrate directly into the site of pain or injury.

Traditionally used in Chinese medicine, the herbs and oils have been selected for temporary pain relief and local reduction in inflammation, whilst improving circulation and healing to a specific area.

  • Muscle spasms and stiffness
  • Zen is a multi-herb blend that is safe for ongoing use and may help with chronic ailments such as mild arthritis.

The formula is non-greasy, penetrates rapidly into skin and provides effective relief.

Directions:
Adults: Apply a small amount to the affected area, 1-4 times daily. If symptoms persist consult your healthcare practitioner.

Ingredients:
Each gram contains extracts equivalent to dried: Spatholobus suberectus stem 15mg, Dipsacus japonicus root 9mg, Panax pseudoginseng root 25mg, Angelica polymorpha root 15mg, Boswellia carterii stem bark resin 12mg, Arnica montana flower 1mg, Drynaria fortunei rhizome 10mg, Commiphora myrrha stem bark resin 13mg.

Each gram also contains:
Mentha arvensis oil 100 microlitre, Cajuput oil 5 microlitre.

Contains alcohol, Contains phenoxyethanol.

Boswellia carterii stem bark resin
In China and India this herb has been used for centuries to treat inflammatory arthritis. It contains boswellic acids, shown to invigorate the blood helping relieve muscle pain and reduce swelling.

Angelica polymorpha root
A Traditional Chinese herb well known in Eastern medicine for its anti-inflammatory properties and its positive effect on relieving pain. Additionally it used to nourish and moisturise the joints to promote mobility.

Commiphora myrrha stem bark resin
The Chinese used this herb in ancient medicine to treat wounds and bruises. It is also considered a pain reliever when pain is the result of blood stagnation.

Dipsacus japonicus root
Has been traditionally used for broken bones, raptured tendons and broken skin.

Mentha arvensis herb oil
Also known as Japanese mint, this oil has a beautiful scent and has traditionally been used for its pain relieving properties.

Panax pseudoginseng root
This herb works to eliminate blood stasis which improves blood circulation which reduces bruising and swelling, helping to speed up recovery time.

Spatholobus suberectus stem
This herb has been added to the formulation as it enriches the blood and promotes blood circulation whilst relaxing tendons. Traditional indications for its use in Eastern medicine when related to joints and muscles are for soreness, numbness, and immovability of extremities.

Drynaria fortunei rhizome
Helping activate blood circulation manifested as rheumatism. It restores bones and tendons, for fracture and trauma.

Arnica montana flower
Arnica Montana has anti-inflammatory properties. When applied to the skin it offers pain relief associated with sporting injuries, such as sprains, bruises and general muscle aches.

Cajuput oil
Has a warming effect which promotes circulation. The oil provides a smoother touch on the skin.
